If you've had an ING Direct sucking experience please leave a comment or email me at kmslogic@gmail.com and I will add a post to this blog with YOUR story... Hurry before the robots get me.
I thought disgruntled people looking for a good rate might enjoy a high-yield savings account with the bank I work with, ShoreBank. The interest is 3.5% - so very competitive. There are some benefits to the account, online access, a minimum of $1, and no monthly fees. Check it out: http://shorebankdirect.sbk.com/
I just signed up for a new account. ING asked me permissions to send all the disclosures electronically. I said yes, hoping that even if they sign me up for an electronic statements, I will always have the option to switch it back. Guess what, they did sign me up for electronic statements and the only way I can switch it back to paper statements is by mailing in a letter (no fax option) and it will take time to process. Two reps (one of them had a name Chris) I talked to were extremely rude and said this is how we do business take it or not. Asked me why I wanted paper statements, I said "I do not trust you guys enough yet to do everything electronic" and the rep said, "we been in business a very very long time." I said "Yes nine years in US--I do not consider long leave alone very very long time." Then he hung up the phone on me. ING SUCKS.
Had the same experience they asked for all my personal information than they shut my account. Is this even legal. They SUCK SUCK SUCK SUCK SO mad at them
